Abstract
Sinus pericranii is a rare vascular tumor, composed of thin-walled vascular spaces interconnected by numerous anastomoses, which protrudes from the skull and communicate with dural sinuses. The tumor is soft and compressive and increases in size when the venous pressure in the head is raised by coughing, straining or lowering the head.
This is a case report of sinus pericranii which developed in the right forehead of 32 years old Korean woman, for past ten years. This big vascular tumor was surgically excised and complete cure was obtained.
